The Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) was established in 1945 by virtue of City of Manila Ordinance No. 2889, Republic Act No. 4072, Republic Act No. 5088, Republic Act No. 6595 and Presidential Decree No. 1524.

Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology(EARIST), a chartered state higher Institution, created under PD 1524 and governed also by RA 8292, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997, is an autonomous state higher institution.

Furthermore, EARIST is a comprehensive higher education institution offering Baccalaureate and Post Baccalaureate Degree Programs via Distance Education programs.
